Jacob D. Hantla, DNAP, CRNA, FHRS is a Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) and board-certified nurse anesthesiologist with 14+ years of subspecialty focus in electrophysiology, cardiovascular, and vascular anesthesia. He leads one of the most specialized cardiac EP anesthesia teams in the United States.

As Senior Partner and Director of Cardiovascular Anesthesia at Guide, Dr. Hantla oversees clinical operations across more than 10 cardiovascular ASC and hospital sites in the Phoenix metro area and leads the CV division of Guide Anesthesia in multiple states across the country.

He consults and speaks regularly for Abbott Laboratories, Biosense Webster / J&J MedTech, and Abiomed on complex hemodynamics, cardiac electrophysiology, and anesthesia, and has served as an expert advisor to the Arizona State Board of Nursing and national CRNA associations on the role of CRNAs in transesophageal echocardiography. He is also available for independent medical-legal consultation and expert witness engagements in cardiac electrophysiology and cardiovascular anesthesia.

Outside of anesthesia, Jacob is a pastor/elder at Grace Bible Church in Tempe, Arizona, a task he has been privileged to serve in since 2008.
