The Best Blog Post of 2006 (that I have read thus far)
Having finished, for now, as much as I can do on the Huichol audio New Testament recording project, I am checking in from Hermosillo, Mexico. After leaving Tepic 18 hours ago, we finally have arrived at the hotel where we are going to spend the night before the final leg of the trip back to the States. To my surprise and delight and at great cost to the amount of sleep that I will get tonight, I discovered that the hotel provides free wireless internet. It's a little bit slow, and I have racked up 40 MB of emails in these 18 hours, so while that downloaded, I decided to finally get back out there into the blogosphere to see what's been going on.After seeing that Pyro has gotten back into the Cessationist/prophecy debate, Mark Lautherbach won a Warnie (I nominated him), and Challies changed his layout, I stumbled upon what I am officially calling "The Best Blog Post of 2006 (that I have read thus far)": Blogging to Worship God, pt 2 by Bob Kauflin. Because it is late, I am exhausted, and I don't want to give you any reason not to follow this link to read the post, I will not attempt to summarize it for you. I will only say that my goal for 2006 is to consistently think and blog in the manner that he describes.
You realize so much its almost tough to argue with you (not
that I actually would want to_HaHa). You certainly put a fresh spin on a
subject that’s been discussed for ages. Wonderful stuff, just great!
